Taking a few minutes on the weekend to plan your Weekday Meals will save you hours of time during the week. As busy moms, we need all the time we can get. I never regret planning out my week’s evening meals and having them ready to go as of Monday morning.

Looking through my recipe cards, scouring Pinterest, and finding quick and easy dinner meals while relaxing on the weekend has been a game-changer for my weekday evenings. Even if you switch up the days during the week, having a mindset of what will be eaten for each dinner meal and being able to make sure you have your ingredients on hand quickens each evening’s family meal preparation. ย  I use this simple printable for my meal planning this fall season.

It is so frustrating to come home from work or finish up a day of homeschooling, or just being the head of your household and children, and getting to dinner time and not have anything in mind to make.ย  Everyone starts getting hungry, cranky, and maybe hangry, and you are in the same boat as you do not know where to start. You may even do what I did often which is grabbing an unhealthy snack to keep everyoneย quiet while you find something to make.

Do not be in this situation, print off a copy of the worksheet, sit down for a few minutes, (even if it is in the carpool line), and plan out what to make for the next 7 days. See what you have in the house, and make a list of what you need. I even would suggest making a pickup order at Walmart or your local grocery store that has the order online and just pack the kids in the car and have then load your groceries.

Remember making dinner easy for you,ย is making a calmer, more relaxed home for the whole family. Save time, money, and nerves by planning ahead.
