Easy Valentine's White Chocolate M&M Popcorn Treat in a red basket bowl on a white counter in a white kitchen with popcorn on the counter and a small bowl with M and M in it.

Easy Valentine’s White Chocolate M and M Popcorn Treat

Sweet, salty, and crunchy all the favorite snack foods popcorn, chocolate, and M&Ms. A fabulous combination for a Valentine’s Day Treat.

  • Total Time: 10 minutes
  • Yield: 10 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 10 cups Popped Popcorn - store-bought gourmet popcorn or homemade popcorn
  • 1 -12 oz package of White Chocolate Chips
  • 1 -10 oz package of Valentine's M&Ms
  • 2 teaspoons of Coconut Oil
  • Mini Valentine's Day Sprinkles - Hearts

Instructions

  1. Start by lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Wax Paper will also work. (I used 2 small baking sheets)
  2. Measure out 10 cups of popped popcorn and layer on the parchment paper. Spread evenly in a single layer but you want the popcorn to touch.
  3. In a glass measuring cup or a microwave-safe bowl melt 1/2 cup of the white chocolate chips at a time. Add 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to the white chocolate chips and microwave for 30 seconds at a time until the chocolate mixture is melted and smooth.
  4. Transfer the melted chocolate to a zip-lock plastic bag and make a small cut at the tip. Use this to drizzle the chocolate mixture all over the top of the popcorn.
  5. As quickly as you can after the melted chocolate is on the popcorn add the Valentine’s M&Ms and the Valentine’s heart sprinkles. This way they will stick to the chocolate and the popcorn.
  6. When the melted chocolate has hardened store in an airtight container.
