If you love cake, and love cake batter and love cake batter dips you will love serving this fun easy dip on your next Charcuterie Dessert Board. The sprinkles in the Funfetti Cake mix dip add color and fun to this smooth creamy fruit and dessert dip. And all you had to say is “Cake” in our family and we were having a party.

Ingredients

  • 1 box of Funfetti Cake Mix or Vanilla Cake Mix
  • 8 oz of cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 8 oz of Cool Whip, regular or low fat
  • 1/2 to 1/3 cup of milk (depending on the consistency you like)
  • 1/2 cup of Sprinkles if using a white cake mix.
  • Extra Sprinkles for the top if using the Funfetti cake mix.

Instructions

  1. Bring the cream cheese to room temperature, and if you freeze your Cool Whip have it softened in the refrigerator.
  2. Mix together in a stand mixer or with a hand mixer the cream cheese and Cool Whip, until smooth. 
  3. Add the milk and the cake mix alternately, when it gets too thick to mix, hand mix with a spatula. 
  4. If using a white cake mix, add sprinkles.  
  5. When well-mixed place in a decorative bowl and top with extra sprinkles.

Notes

  1. Serve this dip on a charcuterie board with all the dippers.
  2. Have extra sprinkles in a small bowl so guest can add more if wanted (you can never have enough sprinkles)
