- In a medium bowl or a large liquid measuring cup, add the cream cheese/sugar mixture and add the vanilla extract, the half-and-half, and the milk, and whisk together well. This creates the base of the ice cream mixture and is a delicious vanilla ice cream on its own.
- Add this mixture to a Ninja Creami Pint Container place the lid on top and freeze for 24 hours.
- After 24 hours you are ready to process in the Ninja Creami Ice Cream Machine.
- Remove the pint lid and make sure that you have a level surface. If the surface of the frozen mixture is not level, take a spoon and scrape the top of the pint until it is level.
- Let the container sit out for 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Set the Ninja Creami Pint Container into the outer bowl of the Ninja Creami machine, place the outer bowl lid on top, and secure. Place bowl assembly onto the Ninja Creami Ice Cream maker.
- Turn on the machine and select the Ice Cream Button. Allow to process. This is the first spin.
- Remove from the machine and remove the lid. If the ice cream is crumbly set it back on the unit use the re-mix cycle or re-spin function.
- Take the Oreo cookies and break them into 1/4 pieces.
- Now in the center of the ice cream make a hole and place the Oreo cookie pieces in the middle of the ice cream.
- Again set the pint into the outer bowl, attach the lid with the blade, and use the Mix-in cycle.
- βRemove and enjoy the delicious Cookies and Cream Homemade Ice cream.
