- 2 lbs Flank Steak
- 1/2 cup Soy Sauce
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh Ginger
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- 1/2 cup Pineapple Juice
- 1 Onion thinly sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
Instructions
- Mix together the soy sauce, olive oil, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and pineapple juice in a large zip-lock bag. Add the thawed flank steak and onion to marinate overnight or at least 4 hours.
- After marinate, add the flank steak and all the ingredients in the marinate to the CrockPot.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours. The steak is done when it is tender and easily shredded or sliced. The internal temperature of 200 to 210 is perfect for shredding.
- Serve on buns for sandwiches. You can also serve over rice or in tacos or a lettuce wrap.
