This Copycat Wendy’s Frosty recipe tastes exactly like the original, made with your Ninja Creami and just three ingredients. Fairlife milk, protein powder, and a little patience give you that rich, creamy Frosty flavor right at home. Your family will beg for this homemade version instead of the fast food kind.

  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 and 1/2 cups Fairlife chocolate milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup Clean Simple Eats vanilla protein powder (1 single serving package)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Pour the Fairlife chocolate milk and water into your Ninja Creami pint. Add the protein powder and a pinch of salt. Whisk until fully dissolved with no lumps.
  2. Check that the mixture is below the max fill line. Smooth the top with the back of a spoon so it is level.
  3. Place the lid on the pint and freeze for a full 24 hours.
  4. Remove from freezer and let sit on the counter for 5 minutes. Run the outside of the pint under warm water for 60 seconds. Process on the Lite Ice Cream setting.
  5. If needed, run through the Re-spin cycle until smooth and creamy.

Notes

  1. Use Fairlife milk for the creamiest texture that tastes closest to the real Frosty.
Lumps in the mix before freezing will affect the final texture, so blend well.
  2. The Lite Ice Cream setting works best for protein ice cream.
  3. Make this the night before you want to serve it for best results.
