- 2 pounds of sirloin beef tips- ButcherBox
- 1 large onion large chop
- 2 tablespoons of minced garlic
- 4 cups of cleaned and large sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup of Red Wine
- 2 cups of beef broth (I use 2 cups of water and 1 tablespoon of beef Better Than Bouillon)
- 1 package Durke Mushroom Gravy mix package
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- To thicken: 3 tablespoons cornstarch and 3 tablespoons water
Instructions
- Spray the inner pot of the CrockPot with spray oil.
- Chop the onion in large chop and add to the Crockpot.
- Clean and thick slice the mushrooms and add.
- Chop 2 tablespoons of fresh garlic (or use 2 tablespoons of pre-minced garlic)
- Add the 1 cup of wine.
- Next in a 4-cup measuring cup or large bowl, mix together the beef broth, gravy package, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into the CrockPot.
- Add the beef tip, stir, and cover.
- Set the CrockPot on low for 5 hours.
Notes
- When I did not have fresh garlic I used 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder.
- I also have added 1 can of Campbells French Onion soup, to add another depth of flavor.
