- 1 & 1/2 (16 oz) bags of coleslaw mix of any kind
For the Ramen Topping:
- 3 packages of beef Ramen noodles (or any flavor)
- 1–2 Seasoning packets (depending on the sodium level you want in the recipe for your family)
- 1/2 cup of melted butter
- 1 & 1/2 cups of almonds slivers or slices
For the Dressing:
- 1/2 cup of light olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup of white vinegar
- 1/4 cup of sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350° F (175° C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the contents of 3 packages of beef Ramen noodles with 1/2 cup of melted butter and one package of seasoning from the Ramen noodles. Toss until the noodles are evenly coated.Â
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Keep a close eye on it to prevent burning. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a separate large mixing bowl, add the bags of coleslaw.
- In a small mixing bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup of light olive oil, one tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 cup of white vinegar, and 1/4 cup of sugar to make the dressing.
- Pour the dressing over the coleslaw and toss until well coated.
- Just before serving, sprinkle the cooled Ramen topping over the coleslaw and gently toss to distribute. Reserve 1/4 cup of the Ramen topping as garnish.Â
