Easy Healthy Grilled Pizza on a Pizza Stone: The Ultimate Recipe for Pizza Lovers!

Healthy Vegetable Grilled Pizza is Delicious and Nutritious and with a few tips, you can make the best pizza you will have this summer for your summer cookouts.

  • Total Time: 24 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Premade Pizza dough fresh or frozen
  • Basil and Oregano
  • 1/2 can of Pizza sauce (15 oz)
  • 1/2 Onion, chopped
  • 1 red or green pepper, chopped
  • 1 small package of Mushrooms, sliced
  • Any vegetable you like
  • 1 to 2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to 400 degrees

  2. The vegetables taste best when cut to medium size and sauteed in a skillet to pre-cook and get them soft.

  3. On the pizza stone spread out the dough as large as you can.
  4. Place the pizza stone with the pizza dough on it on the grill and close the lid.
  5. Cook the first side for 6 to 7 minutes

  6. With the pizza peel, flip the dough over on the other side close the grill lid, and cook for another 6 to 7 minutes. Have your fresh or frozen pizza dough thawed and at room temperature.

  7. When the crust is cooked but not burnt remove the pizza stone with the pizza on it with the pizza peel and set it on your counter. (by pre-cooking the dough on each side you have a soft but not soggy crust when done)

  8. Start assembling the pizza: sprinkle the basil and oregano, and layer on a thin layer of pizza sauce. Add the sauteed vegetables or any raw vegetables. (you can also add any meat like pepperoni at this time)
  9. Next layer the shredded cheese on top.

  10. Take the pizza stone with the pizza back to the grille with the pizza peel.
  11. Cook again for 6 to 7 minutes and you have the perfect grilled pizza.
  12. Slice and serve
