Ingredients
- 1 Premade Pizza dough fresh or frozen
- Basil and Oregano
- 1/2 can of Pizza sauce (15 oz)
- 1/2 Onion, chopped
- 1 red or green pepper, chopped
- 1 small package of Mushrooms, sliced
- Any vegetable you like
- 1 to 2 cups of Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill to 400 degrees
-
The vegetables taste best when cut to medium size and sauteed in a skillet to pre-cook and get them soft.
- On the pizza stone spread out the dough as large as you can.
- Place the pizza stone with the pizza dough on it on the grill and close the lid.
-
Cook the first side for 6 to 7 minutes
-
With the pizza peel, flip the dough over on the other side close the grill lid, and cook for another 6 to 7 minutes. Have your fresh or frozen pizza dough thawed and at room temperature.
-
When the crust is cooked but not burnt remove the pizza stone with the pizza on it with the pizza peel and set it on your counter. (by pre-cooking the dough on each side you have a soft but not soggy crust when done)
- Start assembling the pizza: sprinkle the basil and oregano, and layer on a thin layer of pizza sauce. Add the sauteed vegetables or any raw vegetables. (you can also add any meat like pepperoni at this time)
-
Next layer the shredded cheese on top.
- Take the pizza stone with the pizza back to the grille with the pizza peel.
- Cook again for 6 to 7 minutes and you have the perfect grilled pizza.
-
