Description
Light, fluffy, sweet, perfect alone or with a hot bowl of chili.
Ingredients
Units Scale
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 cup Corn Meal
- 4 tbsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 Shortening Melted
- 1 Egg
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 cup Sugar (I added this as my family likes it a little sweeter)
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients together. Put in an 8×8 pan and cook at 350° for 20 minutes.
