Homemade Apple Pie

  • 1 double pie crust ( )


  • 6 Apples peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 2 TLB Flour
  • 1 tsp ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground Nutmeg
  • 1 TLB Lemon Juice


  1. Preheat the oven to 425Β°
  2. Put one pie crust at the bottom of your pie pan.
  3. Mix together the filling.
  4. Place filling in the bottom pie crust
  5. Top with the second crust
  6. Cut venting slits in the top you can also decorate with crust decorations. Crimp the edge of the pie crust with your thumb and forefinger, or with the tongs of a fork.
  7. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until the crust is golden brown. After 15 minutes cover the edge of the crust with strips of foil to keep the edge from getting too brown.
  8. Cool
