- 1 egg
- 1 stick of melted Butter (or vegetable oil)
- 1 teaspoon of Mint Extract
- 1 package of sugar Cookie Mix
- 1 cup of Semisweet Chocolate Chips
- Green food coloring (optional)
Instructions

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar cookie mix, egg, and melted butter (or vegetable oil) according to the package instructions.
- Stir in the mint extract and a few drops of green food coloring, if using. The food coloring will give your cookies a more authentic minty green color, but it’s optional.
- Stir in the chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake the cookies for 8-10 minutes, or until they are lightly golden around the edges.
- Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
