Strawberry sorbet is cold, sweet, and just three ingredients. It comes together in minutes and freezes into the easiest low-calorie treat for a hot summer day.

  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 to 3 cups of strawberries, cut
  • Water, to fill the pint line
  • 4 teaspoons monk fruit sweetener
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Puree the strawberries in a blender or with an immersion blender until smooth.
  2. Pour into the Ninja Creami pint. Add water if needed to reach the fill line, then stir in the monk fruit and salt.
  3. Freeze overnight, a full 24 hours, with the mixture leveled flat before freezing.
  4. Let the pint sit out 5 minutes, run warm water on the outside for 60 seconds, then process on the Sorbet setting.
  5. Re-spin if needed for a smoother texture.

Notes

  1. Riper strawberries mean a sweeter sorbet, so you may need less monk fruit
  2. Start with less sweetener and taste before freezing, you can always add more
  3. Strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer first if you want a smoother texture
  4. A splash of lime juice brightens the strawberry flavor
