Description

If you’re a fan of bundt cakes, then you’ll love this recipe for a chocolate bundt cake baked in a NordicWare Pine Forest bundt pan. Not only is this pan a work of art, but it also produces a stunning, unique cake that will be the star of any dessert table. Super simple as you start with a box of cake mix.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 Duncan Hines Perfectly Moist Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 1 cup of Water
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup of melted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar

Instructions

    1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box, 350° F
    2. Grease your bundt cake pan thoroughly with Baker’s Joy cooking spray. Make sure all the pan is coated.
    3. In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the cake mix, eggs, butter, and water according to the instructions on the back of the box. Mix on low for 30 seconds and then on medium speed for 2 minutes.
    4. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Fill the tips of the trees first and tap and then fill the remaining and tap the pan gently on the counter for at least 1 minute to release any air bubbles.
    5. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Check after 30 minutes and do not overbake.
    6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then carefully turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
    7. Once the cake is cool, you can decorate it with powdered sugar and sprinkles. Serve with whip cream.
