  • Water
  • Eggs (sometimes I reduce the egg yokes in bake recipes but use 3 whole eggs for this bundt cake)
  • Melted Butter (the box called for vegetable oil but I used butter for a richer flavor)
  • Powdered Suger
  • Whip Cream

How to Make a Chocolate Bundt Cake in a Decorative Bundt Cake Pan

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the cake mix box, 350ยฐ F
  2. Grease your bundt cake pan thoroughly with Baker’s Joy cooking spray.
  3. In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, combine the cake mix, eggs, butter, and water according to the instructions on the back of the box. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared bundt cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Fill the tips of the trees first and tap and then fill the remaining and tap the pan gently on the counter for at least 1 minute to release any air bubbles.
  5. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Check after 30 minutes and do not overbake.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then carefully turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. Once the cake is cool, you can decorate it with powdered sugar and sprinkles. Serve with whip cream.
