This creamy 3 ingredient pineapple ice cream is one of those recipes you will make on repeat all summer. It comes together fast, uses simple ingredients you probably already have, and tastes just like the Dole Whip we love at Disney. The kids ask for it every single week.

  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 6 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups Pineapple Juice
  • 1 can of crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

Instructions

1. Before you begin, make sure your Cuisinart ice cream maker freezer bowl has been in the freezer for at least 24 hours.

2. In a NutriBullet or blender, puree the crushed pineapple and pineapple juice until smooth.

3. Mix in the heavy whipping cream by hand.

4. Pour the mixture into the Cuisinart ice cream maker freezer bowl and place the bowl onto the ice cream maker.

5. Turn the unit on and check in 20 minutes.

6. After 20 minutes, scoop the ice cream out of the bowl and transfer to a freezer-safe container. Freeze until ready to serve.

Notes

  • When you are ready to serve, you will need to set it on the counter for 10 to 15 minutes or put it in the microwave for 20 seconds at a time.  If left in the freezer, it gets really hard but softens nicely.
