- 1 Pillsbury Pie Crust
- 1 cup of chopped ham
- 1 cup of shredded swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup of half and half
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme leaves
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- preheat oven to 375°
- Line a pie pan with one of the pie crusts from the Pillsbury package. (do not butter or spray oil the pie pan).
- Place the pie pan on a cookie sheet for easy removal from the oven,
- Layer parchment paper on the unbaked pie crust and add pie weights or dryer beans to keep the shape of the crust.
- Bake the pie crust without anything in it for 10 minutes.
- Remove the baked pie crust from the oven and cool for 5 minutes
- Layer the ham and then the cheese on the bottom of the pie crust.
- Mix together the eggs the half and a half and the time leave with salt and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture on top of the ham and cheese.
- Bake the Quiche at 375° for 35-40 minutes. Check to make sure it is set in the middle.
- Remove from the oven and cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add other veggies like onion, broccoli, mushrooms, or asparagus. (Just not all in the same quiche lol )
