Can a Quiche be Crustless?

You can make the quiche recipe crustless, just by simply leaving out the crust. Make sure that you spray the pan with spray oil, or butter the pie pan to make sure the quiche does not stick.

Customize Your Quiche

  • Use cheddar or any creamy cheese.
  • Add sauteed onions.
  • Add other veggies:
  • Spinach
  • Green onion
  • Broccoli
  • Asparagus
  • Mushrooms

How to Make Ham & Swiss Quiche

  • Roll out the pie crust to the size of a 9-inch pie pan.
  • Pre-bake the pie crust in the pie pan for 15 minutes. Use parchment paper on top of the crust and then layer on pie weights or dry beans that you use pie weights. This helps the crust not to be soggy when you bake the filling.
  • Chop the ham and your veggies, and shred the swiss cheese while the crust pre-bakes.
  • Layer the ham and cheese on the bottom of the crust.
  • Mix together the egg, half and half, and veggies.
  • Pour the egg mixture over the ham and cheese in the pre-baked pie crust and bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes until the center is set.
  • Cool before eating.
