Easy Instant Pot Salisbury Steak

Classic Beef Patty in a simple brown gravy. Perfect for a quick family dinner. Traditionally served with Mashed Potatoes and peas


  • 3 pound of Ground Beef (makes 68 Patties)
  • 1 tablespoon each of Basil & Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Dried Onion Flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard (any kind)
  • 2 large Onions Chopped
  • 1015 large Mushrooms
  • 2 package of Brown Gravy mix
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil


  1. First Make your beef patties. Mix ingredients 1-7 and form flat patties.
  2. Turn the Instant Pot on to saute and add the 2 large onions chopped.
  3. Add the patties and brown both sides
  4. Add the mushrooms.
  5. Mix the gravy mix with 2 cups of Water in a separate bowl, and when mixed add to Instant Pot.
  6. Set the Instant Pot to Pressure, set the top valve to seal, and set pressure time to 10 minutes. let the Instant Pot release naturally another 10 minutes.



If when the dish is complete the gravy is not thick enough for your family, take 2 TLB of cornstarch and mix with a fork 1/2 cup of cold water.  Remove the patties and put on a platter, cover to keep warm.  Add the water-cornstarch mixture to the Instant Pot and set on Saute. Stir until it boils and is the thickness you like.
