Scale
- 1 container Light and Fit caramel apple pie Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder (about 1/8 cup or 1 single serving package)
- 1 teaspoon monk fruit sweetener
- 1/8 teaspoon xanthan gum
- 1 and 1/2 cups vanilla Fairlife milk
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Mix your base. Pour the Fairlife milk into your Ninja Creami pint, then add the yogurt, protein powder, monk fruit, xanthan gum, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until the protein powder is fully dissolved.
- Check your fill line. Make sure the mixture does not go above the max fill line. Stir once more to combine.
- Freeze overnight. Put the lid on and freeze for a full 24 hours. Level the top before freezing.
- Process on Lite Ice Cream. Rest the pint 5 minutes on the counter, run warm water over the outside for 60 seconds, then process on the Lite Ice Cream setting.
- Re-spin if needed. Check the texture and run the Re-spin cycle if it is not smooth yet.
Notes
- Whisk the protein powder in fully before freezing, lumps affect the final texture.
- Level the top of the mixture before freezing for the best results.
- Run the Re-spin cycle once or twice if the first process comes out crumbly.
- For real apple pie flavor, fold in a spoonful of diced sauteed apples after processing.
