  • Total Time: 0 hours
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 and 1/2 cups watermelon juice (fresh watermelon cubed and blended)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 4 teaspoons monk fruit sweetener (optional, or sub sugar or sweetener of your choice)
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions

  1. Cube fresh watermelon and blend until smooth. Measure out 1 and 1/2 cups of juice.
  2. Pour watermelon juice and water into your Ninja Creami pint container. Add sweetener and a pinch of salt if using and stir.
  3. Place the lid on and freeze for a full 24 hours.
  4. Remove from freezer and let sit on the counter for 5 minutes. Then run the outside of the pint under warm water for 60 seconds.
  5. Process on the Sorbet setting.
  6. If needed, run through the Re-spin cycle until smooth.

Notes

  1. The riper your watermelon, the sweeter your sorbet will be.
  2. Start with 2 teaspoons of sweetener and add more to taste.
  3. Strain the juice through a fine mesh strainer for an extra smooth texture.
  4. A squeeze of fresh lime juice adds a nice brightness.
