Ingredients Needed for Easy Chicken Casserole:
- STAUB Specialty Shaped Cast Iron 6.25-qt Shallow Oval Dutch Oven

- Cooking Spray
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces, or use chicken tenders.
- Salt and Pepper To taste
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 cup of Sour Cream
- 1 Can of Cream of Celery Soup
- 1 tablespoon Onion Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 3 cloves Fresh Garlic
- 1 package Store-Bought Stuffing Mix Corn Bread or Chicken
- 1 1/2 cups of Chicken Broth
- 1/4 cup of Butter, cut into pads

How to make Chicken Stuffing Casserole:
- Preheat the oven to 375° F.
- Coat the bottom of the baking dish with the cooking spray for easy cleanup.
- Add the chicken to the bottom of the casserole dish, salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle on top of the chicken the onion flakes, basil, oregano, and garlic.
- In a medium bowl, mix the sour cream, cream of celery soup, and water, mix well, and spread on top of the chicken.
- Next, combine the stuffing mix and the chicken broth in a medium bowl and mix to coat. Spread the mixture on top of the chicken mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 375° F for 30 minutes covered with a lid or foil, then remove the cover and cook uncovered for 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Before eating confirm that the internal temperature is 165° F.
Variations of Chicken Stuffing Casserole:
- Use Cream of mushroom soup to Cream of Chicken soup instead of Cream of Celery Soup.
- Substitute cooked rotisserie chicken and reduce the cooking time by 15 minutes.
- Substitute boneless skinless chicken thighs.
- Use Stove Top Stuffing Mix, Pepridge Cornbread Stuffing Mix, or any simple boxed stuffing mix.
- Substitute garlic powder for fresh garlic.
