How to Make the Perfect 7 Layer Taco Dip
- First, gather all of the ingredients chop roma tomatoes, black olives, and green onions. Grate the cheddar cheese, you can use packaged shredded cheese but when I am having a dip for guests I do not like the cornstarch specks on my cheese. I think it is best to grate your own. (I have found the perfect kitchen gadget to grate cheese the Kitchen HQ Speed Grater and Slice. You will love this it works so well and is simple to use)
- Next, take creamy refried beans out of the can and mix and smash with a fork.
- Now start layering the ingredients.
- Use a round serving dish or a casserole dish with the off-set spatula to start layering.
- layer #1 the refried beans into a smooth layer.
- Layer #2 is the salsa drained and in a smooth layer.
- Layer #3 Next the sour cream layer, mix the sour cream with a package of taco seasoning mix and layer on top of the chunky salsa.
- Layer #4 is the guacamole.
- Layer #5 the shredded cheddar cheese.
- Layer #6 drained diced Roma tomatoes.
- Layer #7 sliced black olives & sliced green onions.
- Keep chilled until ready to serve.
