My family loves ButcherBox Meat and I only use their ground beef or ground sirloin. As I wanted the recipe to be low fat I grabs my ButcherBox ground sirloin and let it thaw in the fridge overnight. You will be surprised by how lean the beef is and how the flavor is so much better than regular ground beef from the store.

How to Make the Recipe Fit a Keto Diet?

If you are on a Keto Diet this is a great recipe. With a few substitutions and serving over zucchini noodles. You can still enjoy the mouthwatering taste of Sloppy Janes by making a few simple substitutions.

Firstly, replace the bun with a keto-friendly option such as lettuce wraps or almond flour buns or the popular zoodles.

Secondly, swap out the tomato sauce with a sugar-free and low-carb tomato sauce or diced tomatoes with no added sugar. You can also increase the number of low-carb vegetables like zucchini, mushrooms, or bell peppers to make the dish even more filling and nutritious.
