I love my electronics, my iPhone, and all the apps that keep me on track. But to set out my day I need to see it on paper. If my plan is just in my head or on my phone, I tend to get lost in the demands of the day. I forget what I planned the night before to get done.
That is why I have designed a beautiful one page Free Fall Daily Planner to help me stay on track with my Time Management. Time Block is the most effective way to get anything done. We as busy moms have so many distractions, appointments, obligations. Just keeping track of all the items that need to be purchased and where they have to go and who has to have them can be daunting.
We are not just moms but logistic coordinates, purchasing agents, snack bakers, dinner chiefs, unpaid Uber drivers, and many more.
That is why we need a place where we can plan the night before or in the morning all of the big & little details of our hustling families. If you are going to find any time for yourself for self-care or that big dream you have, you need to plan time for yourself.
It can be so overwhelming with family, work, kids, big projects, and big dreams. My big dream is this blog and I get overwhelmed all the time. What I want to do is not always what I have to do for my family & work obligations. looking at school schedules, homework project deadlines, my work time commitments, and loved family & friends’ needs.
That is why time management technique like time blocking is such a passion. I know I can not do it all, all the time, but I like to be my most productive.

I like to start on Sunday afternoon when the weekend starts to calm down. I take my phone and all the schedules from school & work and start. I print off a beautifully designed daily worksheet. The design keeps me motivated and reminds me of the beauty of the earth.
I start filling in the times, appointments, deadlines, and just stuff that has to get done on time. I then take a red colored pencil and make a block around any free time. I then look at what I want to get done and start making commitments to myself to get done what I dream of completing.
It can be as simple as 15 minutes to clean out one of the messy drawers in my kitchen. Or it can be an hour of time to work on our big dreams. If you have very small children nap time or after bed maybe you only times, and only 10 to 15 minutes. But do not sell these small-time block short. They start to add up fast, and before you know it you are getting that feeling of accomplishment. (even if you just get a basket of laundry put away)

I hope the Daily Printable Worksheet helps you get more done or just gives you a feeling that I know I can get all I need to do today done. And do not worry if you do not follow your schedule. It is not that you are keeping a grade of yourself it is just having a plan for the day out of your mind and on paper. For me, I just feel calmer and able to concentrate on each activity knowing that I do not have to keep everything tracked in my mind.
(if you are like me you have a hard time remembering everything with so many distractions, beautiful blessings that we call our kids. I would not give them up for the world)
You can print off as many copies as you need. Also, look around and see if there are any other printables you want.

So festive…and useful!!!
