That is why I designed a beautiful free printable to brainstorm and schedule all the activities that I want to create memories with my kids this fall. I like to sit down with a cup of coffee, talk to my husband and the kids, and see what we would like to do this fall.  I first think back to my childhood and bring back the memories of fall that make me feel excited about the season

Why Fall Activities are so Important

Fall has always been so special to me as my Mother and I used to take long walks. We could collect wildflowers and seed pods from the side of the road or in open woods. Pine cones and milkweed pods make for beautiful dried wreaths. Fall has so many wonderful memories for me, I want to share my family traditions and make new ones with my kids.

Fall activities are important to build relationships and share memories of outdoor adventures. Apple picking, pumpkin patches, hayrides, raking leaves, and of course jumping in the big pile so you have to start all over. Hiking, scouting outings, bike rides, and so many more. I know you have your favorite from your childhood.

Print off the beautiful brainstorming sheet and sit down with your kids and plan out what will bring your family together.

Fall being the time kids go back to school I also like to make sure that in all these activities I use adventure and crafts to teach. Most of the learning for children are not in school but in the home with family traveling, creating, and making life fun.

Take each fall activity you pick and teach.  Teach the science of colored leaves. Teach cutting and gluing skills as you make crafts. Teach preserving our environment on walks and safety when riding bikes. You are the best teacher your little ones will ever have to make learning and life as fun as you can.

  1. I love that you call it a brainstorm as I am not a fan of the term bucket list!
